Our short courses are designed to give you practical, focused training in specific areas of the nail and beauty industry.
Whether you are just starting out or looking to expand your services, these courses provide the opportunity to build confidence and develop real skills in a supportive environment.

All short courses are delivered in small class sizes, allowing for personalised support and hands-on guidance.
You will be trained by award-winning educator Kirsty Crouch, with over 25 years of industry experience and extensive teaching knowledge.
Classes are held in our Tea Tree Gully training space, providing a professional and welcoming environment.
Pre-requisite to study short courses.
All students are required to complete 2 essential theory units BEFORE attending any nail short courses especially when working on clients.
These two theory units are 'Apply safe health, hygiene and work practises' and 'Maintain infection control procedures'.
It is important that students learn the importance of correct hygiene and cleaning practises and to ensure they are following local, state and national guidelines when working in the hair and beauty industry.
These units are $160 each, bringing the total to $220. This is NOT an option, this is essential for ANY nail student studying at Cheeky Co. Education. We take health and hygiene standards very seriously.
If you have done any previous studies in the hair or beauty industry, you may have covered these units already, so please speak to Kirsty to confirm.

Acrylic Nails
A comprehensive practical course focused on building strong, well-structured acrylic nail enhancements.
Students will learn application, shaping, refining and finishing techniques while developing product control and confidence.

Gel Nails
Learn how to apply and refine gel nail systems for a durable, professional finish.

Gel X Nails
A one-day course introducing soft gel extension systems.

Acrylgel (Polygel) Nails
Learn hybrid nail systems combining the strength of acrylic with the flexibility of gel.

Electric File (E-File) Training
Learn how to safely and effectively use an electric file to improve efficiency and precision.

Important Requirements
To ensure safe and professional practice, students are required to complete hygiene and infection control theory units prior to attending most practical courses, unless previously completed.
Students may be required to:
- Bring models for certain courses
- Work on themselves or other students for practical training

Kits are available for purchase, or students may bring their own equipment where appropriate.
